WHAT TO EXPECT

Is there downtime? Minimal. You can return to most of your normal routine immediately after treatment. Please avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Results: Effects of neurotoxin typically begin within 3–7 days, with results lasting about 3–4 months (varies per person).
Does it hurt?! We strive for comfort with all our procedures at Simply Serene. Most patients describe the sensation as a mild pin-prick.

PRE & POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-Treatment:

Avoid Advil, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Aspirin, Motrin, Vitamin E, fish oil, St. John’s Wort, and other NSAIDs for 14 days prior to treatment to help minimize bruising.
Avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours prior to treatment to reduce bruising risk.
Schedule your treatment at least 1 month before any special event to allow for optimal results.

Pre-Treatment:

No exercise or strenuous activity for 24 hours
Do not lay on your face or bend forward for at least 3 hours
Avoid applying makeup for 24 hours
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
Avoid extreme heat (sauna, hot tubs, direct sun exposure)
Apply ice or arnica gel if bruising occurs
Avoid facials, massages, or exfoliating treatments for 2 weeks
